Madrina - Short Film

A young woman stirs up deep resentment in a failed attempt to reconnect with her estranged family for Christmas. After a heated confrontation, she is ready to abandon her efforts until an unexpected encounter with her godmother gives her new insight. Realizing she may never "go home" again, she forms a bond with migrants seeking refuge in her city.
